Old tannery. New ears.
An independent venue run by people who've carried their own amps up too many staircases.
Why we exist
Cities need rooms where a band can play their fourth-ever gig to fifty people who came on purpose. That's us. We book local originals first, bring through touring acts who'd otherwise skip town, and keep the ticket prices honest.
The sound system was specced by the people who mix on it. The stage is low enough to see over. The green room has a working toilet, which artists tell us is rarer than it should be.

80 people, a small stage and the best jukebox in the inner north. Free gigs, songwriter nights and the only quiet pint you'll find on a Friday.
Access
Everyone gets in.
- Step-free entry through the Tannery Lane door.
- Accessible toilet on the ground floor, next to the Main Room.
- Viewing platform with clear sightlines, first come first served. Tell us you're coming and we'll hold a spot.
- Companion Card accepted for all ticketed shows.
- Free earplugs at the bar. Ear defenders for kids at Sunday Sessions.
