The room
Built for sound, not for selfies.
The Backline started as a disused tannery with a leaking roof and very good bones. Now it's a proper live room: a main stage that sounds as good at the back as it does at the front, a front bar for free gigs and quiet pints, and a crew who treat every band like the headliner.
